Hey guys! This clip is soooo funny! Wait for it until it loads before you watch so you won’t get “bitin.” I super loved this movie and thanks to whoever made this, I get to have 20 minutes of fun and laughter from Jim Carey. I miss this guys! I wish he could have new funny movies again. hahahaha! Enjoy it!
This began in 1998 and I think it spurred the teen show phenomenon in the US in the Philippines. It aired on WB along with Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Roswell.
I used to rely on my friend for newer seasons. She had a sister in the States who taped the episodes for her. On hindsight, that’s our life before the advent of Makati Cinema Square (you know why), Limewire, You Tube, and Bit Torrent. We’ve gone a long way, baby– technologically, that is.
Moving on, I think Season 3 was the most exciting of all because that’s where Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Joey (Katie Holmes) get together. Yes, my teenage brain, at that time lived for stories like these. So here’s a clip I’ve managed to grab from YouTube. It’s Episode 19 from Season 3 where cute Jonathan Lipnicki has a cameo appearance.
Remember how this blog is a class project? Well, we were judged this afternoon and guess what the results are?
We earned 1st place in Technorati ranking—23,000! So we’d like to say a nice little shoutout to those who linked, wrote articles about our blog. And congratulations to our fearless and oh-so-patient linker, caratiara (you did a fantastic job)!
We placed 1st in most number of unique visitors. We owe this to you our dear readers. Rest assured, Kidswereus will still be up and running (as of the moment, we’re coming up with new entries).
To the whole Kidswereus team–Ron, Cara, Anna, Karla, and Michelle, it’s been a fun ride! You’ve been very supportive, persistent, and extremely patient. Hope you guys still find the time to blog even if the sem’s over.
In my old high school, there were only two kinds of boys. Those who worshipped Puff Daddy, the Wu Tang Clan, Tupac Shakur, and Pras Michel and those who headbanged with Cheese, Greyhoundz, and Linkin’ Park. So guys, I hope you willingly share where you sided in the bi-polar world of music and men’s fashion in the late nineties.
One of the amusing superheroes of the 90s was The Tick. I used to watch it on RPN 9 with my brother (who introduced me to the show), we’d always laugh at this superhero’s antics and depth (yes! he talks about stuff that are somewhat not what you get from the typical superhero). The show was great because it was something different from all the spiderman/woman, batman and superman cartoons proliferating the tv stations back then. In case you guys kinda have no idea what I’m talking about (nooooooo!) or have forgotten who this guy is, watch the video! Its hilarious!
Ok, hold your horses people! I’m pretty sure you know who Arthur is (i.e. if you have cable and all - i channel). This was one of my favorite shows because it just tells you what a kid goes through during his childhood. Fighting with your siblings (and getting along with them!), having friends, fitting in school, raising parents (hehe!), and just dealing with whatever kids deal with! In the show all of the characters were animals, can u guys identify what types of animals were there (without using Google ah!)?
Well, that’s kinda hard. Since I wouldn’t know either. Hehe. But I really loved this show.
German Moreno or “Kuya Germs” was THE MAN during the late 80’s and most of the 90’s because of his influence in the showbiz industry and his ability to make striving artists to big stars. This guy was the first man to sport the “bling bling” fashion here in the Philippines! (sorry hip-hoppers! LOL), his necklace and rings dwarfed 50 cent’s blingbling. If you are a big fan of KG, you can still watch him every saturday midnight in his show, “Walang Tulugan”.
