Family Computer
March 5, 2007
Before the playstation, nintendo, xbox..we had the family computer. It was just the arrow keys and the buttons a and b. The games were in a cassette looking container.

My favorite game back then was battle city. It was a tank game. The players had to destroy the enemy tanks and prevent them from shooting the eagle. There are some flashing enemy tanks which carried power ups. My favorite was the star, it changes the look of your tank and you can shoot faster.

Whats your favorite family computer game? ![]()

omg! i remember this console!!! hahaha… i never had this one but my cousins did (they’re 30 plus now) and they never let me play… what i remember is that they had to blow on the part that you insert in the console to make it work… did they also have a game where you’re a spaceship and it’s just flying forward and you have to kill/destroy all the other spaceships and rocks that are headed your way? i just remember playing nintendo, especially mario, tetris, and duck hunt

You know, I actually recently bought one again, because the games were simply fun. Unlike the games of today, where everything sort of feels like chores, the games of yesteryear focused on the fun factor.
And I’ve been rallying it for years, if there’s a game that deserves to be reborn, it’s Battle City.
