The show’s goal was simple: to give the Pinoys an overview of the Japanese culture. We love it for the host’s flawless translation of Japanese to Filipino. It also helps that she speaks in a sing-song voice while she asks the Tokyo-dwellers about their day-to-day living. Sad to say, this show stopped airing in RJ TV 29 many years ago. However, cheesedip.com says that Oh! Tokyo III is undergoing production and will be airing on WINS channel.

Hi!

I think the reason Eleanor Nishiumi (the host) can translate flawlessly from Filipino to Japanese is that she married a Japanese guy.

kaya di ko nakalimutan ang japanese word na
konnichiwa

kasi lagi nya sinasabi yun

fave episodes ko ay yung mga time

i agree arch mon! hehe.. ang hirap nga i search ng show.. gusto ko mapanood ulit! i remember lagi lang kumakain yung host.. hehe titkman niya lahat ng food.. ang kulit.. i wanna watch it again.. do you guys know where? tnx!

I like the host especially pag tumitikim siya ng pagaking hapon. Abay nilalasap niyang mabuti. at exag kung mag-comment. pero ang bruha, inaaliw ako. Nawala na rin kasi ang Wowow sa cable eh kaya wala na rin ang Oh! Tokyo!

Nga pala, sa mga hindi pa buhay, wala pang muwang, hindi naging batang kalye o nakaranas maging high school nung 90′s…malaki ang namiss out nyo! the best ang 90′s!!!

ahhahahh 10? 15 years ago when i used to watched this every saturday ata. hindi ko pa memorize ung channel niya, all i knew was the timeslot, morning ata to, tapos iniiscan ko lahat para lang mapanuod to…
