Takeshi’s Castle time!

December 14, 2006 at 1:06 am 19 comments

I’m sure you’ve heard of this show. It’s this dubbed Japanese show, wherein more than 50 contestants face many different challenges. Some of them are just suuuuuper hilarious because of the way the contestants look after the challenge. Some challenges even make you scream out of suspense because some challenges have “monsters” which try to run after you. It was soo funny and many people liked it that the QTV 11 channel decided to bring it back. Watch this for the best of Takeshi’s Castle!

I LOVED Takeshi’s castle! My favorite part’s where contestants have to step on floating foam on top of the pond.

I think Takeshi’s castle less offensive than that other hit Japanese TV show, Banzai.

Takeshi’s castle’s so funny!!! I laugh every time I watch it. Favorite ko yung tumatalon sa trampoline (or something) tapos nahuhulog sila. Hahahahaha!

God! I love watching this! I remember sila Anjo Yllana and Smokey Manaloto pa nagho-host nito dati. Good thing QTV had this show syndicated for us to enjoy it all over again. I like the part with the rotating mushroom…contestants hang on for dear life until they reach the landing. Hahaha!

i love takeshi’s castle. my dad and i used to avidly watch it nung days na wala pa kong magawa and lagi ako nagrereklamo na bakit parang ang haba-haba ng isang araw(oh i miss those times…). so when someone told me na ine-air daw ulit ang takeshi’s sa qtv 11, i checked it out. i dont know but i got disappointed..hindi na ko natatawa like before..is it because ive already outgrown that brand of humor or ayoko lang nung mga hosts(where are smokey and anjo ba? i remember nung bata ko, akala ko talaga theyre in japan..hehe)? i dont know..

Hi ley! I still find the show funny because of the challenges pero I agree with you that the new hosts now is a bit irritating. They added a small story with some girls and guys trying to have the Japanese accent. Oh well, still watch the challenges kasi yun yung laughtripn talaga.

I think the thrilling part in this show is when the contestants go into this maze and they try to get out of there without bumping into the scary people. (Haha! I don’t know what you call them.) Who thinks otherwise?

I remember this show when i was in my 1st year college, 1989. Wala pang host na pnoy noon napapanood ko na to. Talagang funny. Nang magkaroon nainis ako pro ok nmn ng konti c anjo at smokey kesa s mga bagong host ngaun.

I caught an episode yesterday of Takeshi’s Castle. They weren’t as funny as Smokey and Anjo. My favorite segment in the show is when they attempt to cross the pond by hopping on these sponge-like stones. Ginagaya pa nga namin yun nung bata kami eh. Sira sira yung throw pillows ng mom ko dahil dun. Haha.

    Wait…you speak Dutch? Kewl!

  • 17. Crisel  |  February 27, 2007 at 9:48 pm

RSS Return of the Nineties by Kidswereus

It’s been a year since we’ve begun this blog. Wahoo! It’s time to bring back the love to the next batch of SEO experts, bloggers, and internet marketers! This year’s theme is more social-oriented. I guess this idea came from our professor who thinks that the Internet is more than an all-in-one medium that integrates […]
  • Pop Swatch! November 1, 2007
They were funky, overly large, and well cute.  The Pop Swatch was born in the 80’s but it got to Manila during the nineties. My cousin was obsessed with collecting all the straps that would match. We would always pass by Gift Gate in the Greenhills Shopping Arcade so that we would see the new […]
  • Oh Tokyo! October 29, 2007
The show’s goal was simple: to give the Pinoys an overview of the Japanese culture. We love it for the host’s flawless translation of Japanese to Filipino. It also helps that she speaks in a sing-song voice while she asks the Tokyo-dwellers about their day-to-day living. Sad to say, this show stopped airing in RJ […]

Tia and Tamara Mowry (Sister, Sister) 6. Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) 7. Daniella Fischer (Boy Meets World) 8. Larissa Oleynik (Alex Mack) 9. Rachel Leigh Cook […]
  • For kicks: Guess this 90s Telenovela October 27, 2007
The year was 1998 and we, as a nation, have just recovered from the Thalia telenovela avalanche. We needed a change of pace so here’s a soap whose heroine is a child. Her height is as tiny as her voice! I love her show-gum smile and lengthy lashes. The story was interesting in the beginning: […]
