Hi everyone! Happy Valentines! Here’s a treat for you guys…single and in a relationship. Remember the movie My Best Friend’s Wedding? It’s the movie with Julia Roberts who loved her best friend, Dermont Mulroney, very much. She was devastated to find out, that after being each other’s man and woman for a long time, he was going to get married to a girl he just met and knew for a week. Poor Julia Roberts; she did everything to try to stop the weeding from happening. Unfortunately, her best friend and the girl, Cameron Diaz, still got married. Now that it’s valentines, I wanted to give you guys a lovie lovie treat.

My Best Friend’s Wedding huh? Sounds like the perfcet movie for me… Well the future will decide if that’s the case. What can I say? I had one of the perfect valentine’s yesterday. Though it was the first valentine’s that I didn’t feel any blues as being single, my day turned out well. I spent the day with my best friend who had a problem. I guess I’m just like “Jules”; always there no matter what the circumstance is. The great thing about yesterday was that we found ouselves being kids again. Unlike usual “dates”, we ended up playing in Time Zone which is actually highly unexpected of me. But there’s always something great about feeling like a kid…it really makes you forget about all the problems…it is the perfect escape to the stressful world we are expected to live in. Who would have thought that shooting balls, smashing heads of crocodiles, and punching hands would be a perfect date? But then again, it all boils down to who you’re with. So I say, Loveless? I don’t think so. Love isn’t just about couples, its for everyone. It is just a matter of perspective. For all the singles out there, stop looking for love in the wrong places…. It might not be what you exactly want but it may be the right one. And my best friend, he will always be the right one.

awww. this one just made me cry… she let him go… she let the moment pass them by. There are no such things as “meant for each other” kinda thing… It’s always a decision, a choice to love someone. You take the risk, you fall inlove and yes, you may get hurt but you’ll never find that perfect person for you until you learn how to fall inlove and learn how to pick up the pieces when you get hurt. Falling inlove is fun but at the same time a life long experience that will make you a better person through the ups and downs of looooooovvvvve. I am marrying my bestfriend and I didn’t plan on it to happen but it’s a choice that I made and that’s what counts cause, when you make your choice you stand by it and you will really work on it cause marriage is a work in progress – everyday!!!!! Fun isn’t it?? My bestfriend’s wedding – but I’m the bride, not the maid of honor… wink…wink 🙂

I remember this particular scene sa movie when Julia Roberts was following Dermont Mulroney cause apparently, he was following Cameron Diaz, and then Julia calls her gay friend and then at some point in the conversation he told her something like,

You’re following Michael, Michael’s following Kimberly, so, who’s following you? No one.

    Yun yon eh.

that’s my favorite scene in the whole movie! there is just sumthin about slow dancing in a moving boat. But anyway, another lovely scene in that movie was when dermont mulroney admitted to julia that he was jelous of rupert everett. classic!

It’s been a year since we’ve begun this blog. Wahoo! It’s time to bring back the love to the next batch of SEO experts, bloggers, and internet marketers! This year’s theme is more social-oriented. I guess this idea came from our professor who thinks that the Internet is more than an all-in-one medium that integrates […]

They were funky, overly large, and well cute.  The Pop Swatch was born in the 80’s but it got to Manila during the nineties. My cousin was obsessed with collecting all the straps that would match. We would always pass by Gift Gate in the Greenhills Shopping Arcade so that we would see the new […]
  • Oh Tokyo! October 29, 2007
The show’s goal was simple: to give the Pinoys an overview of the Japanese culture. We love it for the host’s flawless translation of Japanese to Filipino. It also helps that she speaks in a sing-song voice while she asks the Tokyo-dwellers about their day-to-day living. Sad to say, this show stopped airing in RJ […]

  • For kicks: Guess this 90s Telenovela October 27, 2007
The year was 1998 and we, as a nation, have just recovered from the Thalia telenovela avalanche. We needed a change of pace so here’s a soap whose heroine is a child. Her height is as tiny as her voice! I love her show-gum smile and lengthy lashes. The story was interesting in the beginning: […]
