In my old high school, there were only two kinds of boys. Those who worshipped Puff Daddy, the Wu Tang Clan, Tupac Shakur, and Pras Michel and those who headbanged with Cheese, Greyhoundz, and Linkin’ Park. So guys, I hope you willingly share where you sided in the bi-polar world of music and men’s fashion in the late nineties.
“Metal ka ba? or Hiphop?”

HIPHOP! I had a phase where all of the items in my closet were baggy jeans from and plaid browsers. My shirts were long and oversized. No offense to those who still ‘carry’ the Hip hop tradition.

Linkin Park… didn’t their debut album come out in 2000? I don’t consider Linkin Park a 90s band really… not even a late 90s band. There were a lot of cool early 90s bands to feature though. Ugly Kid Joe, Skid Row, Metallica (Black Album era)? Quite a few good 90s metal bands to choose from. And while hair metal was fading, out came Grunge from the Seattle underground scene.
Puff Daddy is pretty much towards the end of the 90s around ’96-’97. How about featuring something early 90s when it all really started?

I think everyone likes rap at some point, then people eventually start listening to good music like rock once they realize rap sucks

Rap fans aren’t allowed to talk until they can come up with an act with the diversity and virtuosity of Dream Theatre.
And then of course the perfectionism of Iron Maiden, the fact that everyone at least kind of likes AC/DC, the fact that Van Canto have proven that drums are the only necessary instrument other than the human voice (no kidding, they sing guitar solos). And that’s only rock orientated metal.
